Léa Dumont

Partner beekeeper — Moindou — Wildflower honey

Diversity as a philosophy

Léa Dumont manages a deliberately diverse apiary, spread across several sites with complementary blooms. Her goal: give the bees permanent access to a wide range of nectars, for a rich, balanced wildflower honey that mirrors Caledonian biodiversity.

Working through the seasons

Every hive move is carefully planned, in step with local blooms. This light transhumance lets Léa preserve the balance of her colonies while guaranteeing a generous, regular harvest, without ever exhausting a single area.

A passion for approachable honey

Léa likes to point out that wildflower honey is often people's first encounter with the richness of Caledonian terroir. It is this wish to share a soft, round, versatile honey — never compromising on quality — that drives every one of her harvests.

Independent beekeeper in New Caledonia — Moindou — Multi-floral apiary.

This wildflower honey is also harvested by Pascal Fougliani & Mathieu, in the commune of Poya.
