What lemon blossom honey tastes like
When the lemon trees blossom, the whole region is scented. This short but intense bloom gives a honey with a citrus fragrance, one of the freshest in our collection.
Nadia Kowen keeps her hives in Poindimié, on the east coast, close to the lemon tree plantations. The bloom lasts only a few weeks: she has to harvest at just the right moment, before other nectars blend into the honey.
Where our lemon blossom honey comes from
Poindimié, on the east coast
On the east coast, Poindimié enjoys a wetter, greener climate than the west coast. Between mountains and lagoon, orchards and gardens flower abundantly in spring.

Lemon blossom honey: frequently asked questions
It is not sour: it is a sweet honey with a fresh, floral fragrance that recalls citrus blossom more than the fruit. No flavouring is added.
Over time it crystallises finely and becomes paler and more opaque. This is a natural process that affects neither taste nor quality.
Green tea, iced tea, ginger or lemongrass infusions, lemonades and alcohol-free cocktails: its freshness suits every light drink.
